Who can volunteer?
Anyone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about supporting the creative community is welcome to apply! Whether you're a student, creative, or simply looking looking to gain event experience, we'd love to hear from you!
Do I need previous volunteering or event experience?
No, previous experience is not required! We'll provide guidance and information before the event, and there will also be team members available to support you throughout the day.
What kinds of volunteer roles are available?
Volunteer responsibilities may include:
- Attendee check-in and ticketing
- Front desk
- Queue management
- Information and wayfinding
- Artist and vendor assistance
- General event support
- Bump-in and bump-out assistance
How long is a volunteer shift?
Shift lengths will vary depending on your preferred time availabilities. We'll provide your allocated shift times prior to the event and do our best to accommodate availability where possible.
Can I explore the event while volunteering?
Yes! Volunteers will have scheduled breaks, giving you time to explore the market, shop from artists, grab something to eat, and enjoy the event!
What should I wear?
All volunteers will receive a KRAYON apron uniform to borrow for the duration of your shift! We do also recommend wearing comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes suitable for being on your feet for extended periods.
When will I know if I've been selected?
We'll review all volunteer applications after applications close. Volunteers will be selected based on date/time availabilities, and role availabilities. All applicants will be contacted via email approximately 1–2 weeks after applications close with the outcome and next steps.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept all volunteers due to our limited capacity, however, we greatly appreciate you taking the time to apply to be a part of KRAYON.
