Welcome to the KRAYON Artist Hub! This will be your central resource for everything you need as a volunteer.
Our volunteers help create a welcoming and memorable experience for artists, vendors, and attendees, and we're so excited to have you join the KRAYON team!

Hello KRAYON volunteers! Thank all for volunteering your time to help make KRAYON a successful event! We greatly appreciate your time and we are so excited to have you join the KRAYON team for our 2026 Market!
We created this hub to help guide you through everything you might need leading up to the event, and so that you can easily find what you're looking for as you prepare!
We'll continue adding updates as we get closer to the event, so feel free to pop back anytime.
🗓️ Key Dates
- Date: 21–22 November 2026
- Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm
- Location: Meat Market, 3 Blackwood St (Entry via Courtney St)
⚙️ Roles
Ticketing
- Manage entries and scan tickets
Ticket/Front Desk
- Check-in volunteers and artists
- Provide KRAYON apron uniform + lanyards to volunteers and artist/helpers
- Provide goodies pack to volunteers and artists
- Provide lanyards + goodies pack to VIPs
- Responsible for redeeming Sticker Rally prizes
Floor
- Help assist attendees (E.g. Directing them to the ticket desk for help and information, explaining activities, navigating them to the public restrooms)
- Provide water + snacks to artists and their helpers
- Supervise activity areas and the photobooth area
Bump In
- Help set up the venue and event on Friday/early Saturday
Bump Out
- Help pack down the venue and event on Sunday after 4pm
🦺 Uniform
Apron uniforms will be provided to all staff and volunteers which will have to returned in the ‘Uniform Return Box’ at the Ticket/Front Desk at the end of your shift.
Lanyards will be provided to all staff and volunteers, and can be kept as a keepsake/souvenir after the event concludes

🏠 Access
- Friday 20th November (10AM – 5PM)
- Saturday 21st November (8AM – 4:30PM)
- Sunday 22nd November (9AM – 8PM)

- Location: 3 Blackwood St, North Melbourne, VIC 3051
Entry/Exits
For volunteers, please enter via:
- Courtney St (The Garden)
We recommend entry via Courtney St (See Photo 1a), as our volunteer check-in area will be right by the entrance once you enter the venue.
Photo 1a: Main entry for attendees and volunteers (Courtney St/Meat Market Garden).
Photo 1b: Main exit for attendees (3 Blackwood St). Volunteers are free to use this as an entry during but please drop by the volunteer check-in area so we know you've arrived.

🚦 Transportation
Trams
The nearest tram stops are:
- Tram 19 & 59 – Haymarket/Royal Melbourne Hospital (Approximately a 5–10 minute walk)
- Tram 57 – William/Elizabeth St (Approximately an 8-minute walk)
Train
The venue is nearby several train stations which you may either walk or tram from:
- Flagstaff Station (Approximately 15 minutes)
- Melbourne Central Station (Approximately 15 minutes)
- Arden Station (Approximately 15 minutes)
Parking
There is limited metered and timed on-street parking available around Blackwood St and the surrounding area. Paid parking is also available at nearby hospital and commercial car parks. As parking can fill quickly, we recommend allowing extra time if you plan to drive.

💫 Event Day
Every volunteer will have a scheduled break, and during that time, you are free to explore and enjoy the market!
